Alex Gonzaga responds to criticisms over out of town trip, BF’s indecent gesture
While it was supposed to be a fun trip out of town for actress Alex Gonzaga and her companions, some netizens could not help but stir intrigue.
The actress shared that she went to La Union with friends and boyfriend Mikee Morada via her personal vlog posted Wednesday. She documented her travel, as well as her hosting gig with Luis Manzano for the Mutia Ti La Union pageant.
Gonzaga once again showcased her funny side on the vlog by doing impersonations of Christine Reyes’ “No Other Woman” and singing a la Disney’s “Moana.” Her video also showcased the beauty of the province as they went around various places.
Upon the release of the vlog, one netizen shared her thought on Twitter on why Gonzaga was allowed by her parents to go out of town with her boyfriend. She recalled that her sister Toni was not even permitted to have an overnight stay at now-husband Paul Soriano’s place.

Gonzaga replied to the netizen, saying her trip with Morada was not an overnight stay, adding, “His whole family [was] there too coz the gf of Mikee’s tito (uncle) invited us. Hindi ko lang napakita (I didn’t show it).”
Currently on a trip to the United States, Gonzaga also explained why she is there. “This US trip naman was for my hs bff wedding naman with my whole barkada. Mikee is a (US) citizen and he used to live here so he came w us,” she said. “Yes, nag-explain ako sa’yo.”

But the beating did not stop there. Another netizen, @deniserayala, pointed out a scene wherein Morada pulled out his middle finger, but was covered in the video with an emoji.
“[I]lang ulit kong binalikan yung dirty finger scene (I replayed the dirty finger scene several times),” the netizen wrote. “Alam mo Alex, alam kong mahal mo siya pero makakahanap ka pa ng lalaking rerespeto sa’yo (You know Alex, I know you love him, but I’m sure you will be able to find the man who’ll respect you.”

Gonzaga then shot back in a now-deleted tweet with “Wow Strong words. If it’s real and that’s how he really treats me i would’ve never showed it,” she said. “He does that always para i-edit out ko but the JOKE is i didn’t. I covered it with a bad emoji din. It’s the humor. If di nakakatawa, skip ad na lang muna. #KapagNasaKatwiranIpaglabanMo (If it’s not funny, just skip ad. #IfTheresAReasonThenFight).”
Aside from acting, Gonzaga regularly posts her adventures and antics on her personal vlog. She previously shared a funny moment wherein her father did his best to put makeup on her. /ra
