The multitalented Solenn Heussaff can now tick mural painting off her bucket list, as she finally finished her commissioned mural for salon The Bloc by Junie Sierra & Co, sharing on Instagram last Feb. 3 her finished masterpiece.

“Feeling like a kid again!” Solenn wrote. “If you drop by here tag me infront of #SolennArt. My first mural!”

Heussaff often shares her artworks with her followers, giving them a glimpse into her creative process as an artist. Apart from her vivid impressionistic and fauvist paintings of manifold plants and flora, she also creates art with surreal and social realist undertones, depicting vagrants and children in the streets.

Despite the demands of show business and modeling, Heussaff is able to balance her art with her professional job, taking commissions and exhibiting in galleries here and abroad whenever she gets the chance.

Heussaff also works with other galleries in the country, often tagging along her little nephew Kaeden to help her around and share in the experience of creating art together. Last year, the two showcased their work in Provenance Gallery of Modern Art in Taguig with their exhibit “Kalsada,” which featured the lives of everyday people in the Philippines.  /ra
