Dennis Trillo excited about ‘badass’ movie this year
Many people have episodes of pining for an ex-lover, even if he or she has turned into an “insignificant other.” That’s what GMA 7’s sexy rom-com, “The One that Got Away,” is mainly about (it premieres tonight after “Kambal, Karibal”).
Dennis Trillo portrays Liam, the former lover of three friends who all yearn to reconcile with him.
Ah! the onscreen thrills that Dennis brings.
Liam’s fab ex-girlfriends are played by Rhian Ramos, Max Collins and Lovi Poe.
Exorcising an ex from our system is such a tricky thing. Watching the show will somehow cushion the blow while your heart is under renovation.
Here’s my chat with Dennis:

Article continues after this advertisementWhat are your plans for 2018? I’m doing a badass movie this year, which I’m excited about.
What makes your relationship with Jennylyn (Mercado) better the second time around? We know each other better. We’ve learned from our mistakes in the past.
When your son is old enough, what advice would you give him about love? If you love yourself, chances are, others will love you, too.
What do you do when you feel burned out in the biz? I spend quality time with my loved ones.
What are your cheap thrills? Isaw and dirty ice cream.
What do you miss about the days when you were not yet famous? Nothing. I don’t let fame affect the normal things I do in life. When I’m not working, I’m just a regular guy.
What’s your shout-out for 2018? If you don’t believe in yourself, nobody will.
Birthday boy
Jestoni turns “golden.” What a blast I had at the birthday bash of my good friend, Jestoni Alarcon, at the hippest bar in Quezon City, HidN Lounge. Spotted at the fete were Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, Phillip Salvador, Joel Torre, Dennis Padilla, Rey and Jojo Abellana, Joseph Bitangcol, Alma Concepcion and Jason Abalos.
Jes’ fab wife, Liz, told me that in their marriage, she’s the “naughty one.”
“The problem with Jes is…I have no problem with him,” Liz exclaimed. “He’s such an ideal husband!”
If only we could have Jestoni cloned so there will be less broken marriages.
Happy birthday, Golden Boy—50 never looked so good!
