Baeby Baste is MMFF 2017’s Best Child Performer

The newest wonder boy of Philippine showbiz, Sebastian Benedict “Baeby Baste” Granfon Arumpac is Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 Best Child Performer.

The cute 5-year-old boy from General Santos City proves he’s got the acting skills when he wowed the jurors with his performance in his first MMFF entry, “Meant To Beh” top-billed by comedian Vic Sotto and drama actress-turned-comedian Dawn Zulueta.

The ever cute chubby kid earned explosive reactions from the crowd as he went on stage to receive his award.

As a true Visayan, he did not forget to thank his supporters in his native dialect.

“Sa lahat ng ‘Meant To Beh’ cast, kay bossing, kay Ma’am Jenny, sa ‘Eat Bulaga,’ first time ko po, daghang salamat po. I love you all.”

He is currently the youngest host of long-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga”. The Gabi ng Parangal was held at the Kia Theater last December 27.
