Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters expressed displeasure in having her evening gown for the Miss Universe pageant leaked online.

Peters uploaded an Instagram story with text stating how the incident has helped her learn a lesson on whom to trust.

The leaked image uploaded on Instagram features the lower half of a golden gown with a mermaid fit. The caption mentions that designer Val Taguba was choosing between two gold outfits for the beauty queen.
