Marian Rivera’s ‘Carmela’ teleserye to air in Thailand

Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera is happy that her 2014 drama series “Carmela” will air in Thailand soon. She also hopes that the Thai people will love its story, just as Filipinos did.

She made the announcement recently on Instagram. She shared the official promo photo of the program and wrote, “Sawadee ka (Hello), Thailand! I’m so excited for the showing of Carmela. I hope you like it and i hope to see you soon. Kap kun ka! (Thank you)”

Rivera was paired opposite Pambansang Bae Alden Richards in the series. Rivera played the role of Carmela Fernandez, a very beautiful woman who had gone through so much in life. She then falls in love with Santiago “Yago” Torres played by Richards, and the drama begins as the story of the lead stars unfold.

The show aired from January until May 2014. JB
