Xander Ford sues uploaders of ‘Marlou Arizala mocking Kathryn Bernardo’ video

Internet celebrity Xander Ford has filed a complaint against two individuals who were allegedly behind the uploading of a controversial video where he, then still known as Marlou Arizala, was reportedly seen body-shaming Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo.

As Marlou Arizala, Xander Ford was a boy band member who went through major operations to change his looks. His big decision to change himself was caused by rampant bullying, because of the way he looked.

As stated in a Twitter post by ABS-CBN News’ Bianca Dava, two individuals identified as Dave Alvarez and Angelo Rozol will be facing cyberbullying complaints from Ford.

Ford said he was forced to resort to such action as the viral video has been affecting his career. He said he lost projects because of the wrong accusations against him.

Meanwhile, apart from the said Kathryn Bernardo viral video issue, Ford has been at the forefront of showbiz headlines for his alleged change in attitude. Among the issues he’s been bombarded with was his supposed misconduct on an ABS-CBN marshal and his rift with talent manager and entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz, who has been highly critical of Ford.

However, Ford, in a recent interview with Inquirer ShowbizLive, denied such allegations of arrogance made by Diaz and other critics. JB
