Seasoned journalist Atom Araullo is all set for the airing of his very first documentary under GMA network, “Philippine Seas” on Nov. 5.

In an Instagram post by GMA Public Affairs, Araullo scours the vast waters to document the status of the Philippine seas and oceans.

In the trailer, Araullo is seen diving into the deep to personally see the teeming aquatic life beneath. He also has an encounter with fishermen catching gigantic fishes such as tuna.

Araullo once caught global admiration for his life-threatening coverage of the catastrophic onslaught of typhoon Yolanda in 2013. Having signed off from being a beat reporter, he now focuses on other platforms of media work such as producing quality documentaries with the Kapuso network.

Apart from his “Philippine Seas” project, Araullo is the fifth host of the award-winning Kapuso documentary program”I-Witness.”

He has also once delved into acting in the movie “Citizen Jake.” /ra
