WATCH: Nate Alcasid sings with mommy Regine Velasquez

If one happens to be the son of legendary singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, you can expect giftedness to run in the veins of that kid.

It seems that the power couple’s son Nathaniel James “Nate” Alcasid has inherited his parents’ singing talent.

In a recent video post by his daddy on Instagram, Nate was seen singing the song “I Can” with his mommy. “I Can” was the theme song of one of Velazquez’s most famous films in the 1990s, “Do-Re-Mi”, together with fellow ’90s superstars Mikee Cojuanco and Donna Cruz. Alcasid was also seen in the video.

Velasquez is set to have a concert on Oct. 21 and 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena, entitled “R3.0”. The concert will be in celebration of her thirty years in local showbiz. JB
