WATCH: ‘Blade Runner 2049’ trailer hints at Jared Leto’s army of replicants
A new trailer for the upcoming Ridley Scott film “Blade Runner 2049” offers a closer look at the character Niander Wallace, played by Jared Leto.
The trailer suggests that Wallace had been buidling an army of new replicants in secret.
LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), with the help of Officer Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), is left to uncover the plot and stop Wallace from achieving whatever goal he has.
While the trailer emphasizes the character of Wallace, it also offers a glimpse of wrestler and MMA fighter Dave “Batista” Bautista, talking to Officer K.
“Blade Runner 2049” is the sequel to Scott’s 1982 classic “Blade Runner”. The film will hit theaters on October 6. JB
