Boy Abunda hopes to be a ‘star speaker’

/ 05:22 AM July 16, 2017

TV host Boy Abunda has been interviewing celebrities since the 1990s. This year, he is pursuing a different dream—to become a professional public speaker.

The TV host was inspired to pursue public speaking as a career when he was invited to speak at the Asia Professional Speakers Convention in Singapore last month.

“I’ll work hard to get there. I want to go global,” he said.

He also wants to create his own version of the TEDx Talks for the Philippines—which is envisioned to be a platform for local speakers to talk about any topic.
