Filipina Kriesha Chu debuts as K-pop idol
Shortly after the conclusion of KPop Star 6, Filipina contestant Kriesha Choo has finally debuted as a solo artist.
Chu was born in Cebu, Philippines on December 20, 1998. She migrated to San Francisco, California where she was cast by Urban Works Entertainment.
Chu later moved to South Korea and trained under the agency for a year before she auditioned for KPop Star 6.
Although she was eliminated, she was brought back as the judges’ wildcard and was grouped with Kim Sohee and Kim Hyerim as “Kwins.”
A month after becoming among KPop Star 6’s runners-up, Kriesha Choo has finally debuted with “Trouble”, which was produced by Highlight’s Junhyung.
