Marian on rift issue with Andrea Torres: ‘Let’s kill it’

Marian Rivera pleaded to shut down gossips of her alleged bad blood with actress Andrea Torres.

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the Primetime Queen denied allegations that she snubbed Torres during a backstage encounter on the set of noontime show “Sunday Pinasaya” lst March 12.

Rivera said, “Hindi, kasi ang pagkakaalam ko, wala kaming problemang dalawa, bilang ate-atehan niya ako (From what I know, we don’t have any problem since she treats me like her elder sister).”

“Hindi rin naman lingid sa kaalaman ng marami, at saka kapag may problema siya, sa akin din naman siya lumalapit (It’s not a secret to everyone, and she approaches me whenever she has problems),” she added.

Now that Torres and Rivera’s husband, Dingdong Dantes, will reprise their roles for the forthcoming sequel of “Alyas Robin Hood,” Rivera, 32, wants to shut down rumors about the alleged snubbing incident.

“So siguro, kaya ganun din ang sagot ng bata, kasi hindi rin niya alam ang isasagot. Siguro, ayaw rin niya ng intriga. Patayin na lang natin. (Maybe, that would be her [Torres’] answer, too, since she does not know what to say. She does not want any intrigues. Let’s just kill the issue),” Rivera concluded.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
