In the finale of “The Big Bang Theory”’s tenth season, Sheldon Cooper dropped down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler.
But in reality, the actor behind the lanky, awkward physicist, Jim Parsons, just tied the knot with longtime partner Todd Spiewak at the Rainbow Room in New York over the weekend.
The news was confirmed by Parsons’ representative Jillian Roscoe to USA Today.
The 44-year-old, who’s been giving life to the wisecracking genius since 2007, first came out as gay in 2012.
In an Instagram post last year, he publicly professed his love for Spiewak, an art director, whom he shared meeting 14 years ago. “It was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest,” he caption his post.
