Mowelfund’s 43rd anniversary
The Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund) celebrated its 43rd anniversary last March 25. There was a general assembly and program, thanksgiving Mass, free medical and dental checkups, gift-giving by founding chair Joseph Estrada, art demos, and games for beneficiaries’ children.
Mowelfund’s major projects of the year include medical missions, low-cost housing projects and the launch of its livelihood cosmetology program.
