An second sequel for “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” is a possibility in the future, according to the film’s star, America Ferrera.

“It’s an idea and a conversation,” the “Ugly Betty” actress told E! News during a Human Rights Campaign event on Monday. “I think it would be amazing. The sisterhood is still well and alive. I love my girls. We’re very much a part of each other’s lives and if the movie happens it would be a great thing.”

In another interview with the Meredith Vieira Show in 2015, as reported by E! News, Ferrera said that there were indeed plans to produce the story’s next film. With the possibility of the film’s third installment, based on the five bestselling novels by Ann Brashares, Ferrera wished that fans would appreciate it just as how they appreciated the first two flicks.

“There’s no green light, but it’s definitely in the works,” she revealed then. “There is a script being written. They’re my girls, three of my best friends to this day.”

“I was 20 when I met them. I am 30 now and they are still three of my best friends and supporters,” she told E! News in 2015. “What’s wonderful about these girls in my life is, people expect girls and women to be competitive, and we made a decision to love and support each other off-screen and on-screen.”  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
