WATCH: ‘Kong: Skull Island’ last official trailer released

The final official trailer for “Kong: Skull Island – Rise of the King” has been released by Warner Bros., with new clips showing bits of comic relief in the action-packed film.

In the trailer, last year’s best actress Academy Award winner Brie Larson (“Room”) shows off her comedic charm in a discussion about “skull crawlers” with John C. Reilly, while Tom Hiddleston also breaks from his dramatic roles for a turn at some deadpan humor.

The movie reveals the story of how Kong became King Kong — “when a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man.”

“Kong: Skull Island – Rise of the King” opens March 10 and also stars John Goodman and Samuel L. Jackson. JB
