How do you intend to celebrate the holidays this year?

I usually spend Christmas with my family in Angeles, Pampanga, but the most memorable Christmas for me were the times I spent with street children. I’d buy candies, bread and chocolates, drive my car around town, then stop where there were many kids and distribute the food to them. The look of happiness on their smiling faces is something I’ll never forget.

This year, I’ll be joined by some cabalen (provincemates). We will visit Aeta and Mangyan communities, and homeless people who live under a bridge.

This holiday season is also special because I recorded a Yuletide song, “Miss Kita Kung Christmas,” and it’s now being played on the radio. The music video is also being aired on Myx and MTV Pinoy. —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
