Reality television has always pushed the boundaries when it comes to inappropriate behavior, but one proposed Russian show may be going a tad too far.

A highly controversial show set to begin airing next year will reportedly allow its contestants to commit crimes such as murder and rape.

The 24/7 online show called “Game2: Winter” will feature 30 contestants stranded in the -40C Siberian wilderness for nine straight months. The surviving winner will receive $1.6M prize (P80M).

“Each contestant gives consent that they could be maimed, even killed,” an advert for the show read, according to The Guardian. “2,000 cameras, 900 hectares and 30 lives. Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything.”

Interested participants will sign a waiver agreeing to terms that they may be raped or killed during the show, but rules also claim that police are free to arrest anyone who commits a felony.

Aside from the potential threats coming from their co-participants, contestants will also be subjected to hazardous terrain where wolves and bears dwell. Due to these circumstances, subjects are also allowed to carry knives, but guns will be forbidden.

Furthermore, 2,000 cameras will be scattered around the area and the show will be shot without the aid of a crew. Willing participants must not be younger than 18 and should be “mentally sane” to compete.

Meanwhile, the man behind the unusual show, Russian entrepreneur Yevgeny Pyatkovsky, said he “will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or raped”.
