Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of “Coldplay,” stopped their Melbourne concert midway to allow a fan to propose to his longtime girlfriend.

During the British band’s “A Head Full of Dreams” gig at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Martin halted the show to grant the fan his request. With a wide grin, Martin plucked the couple on stage. “I’m a sucker for this sh*t, I can’t say no,” he shouted. “Let’s get married up in here.”

Martin, however, picked the wrong girl, and when he realized his mistake, offhandedly sent the fan away and said, “What the f**k are you doing?”

When the right one stepped on stage, her “prince charming” knelt down and flashed her engagement ring. When she agreed to marry him, Martin sang the song “A Sky Full of Stars” while tons of confetti rained on the soon-to-be-married couple. Several clips of the exhilarating moment surfaced on social media sites.

Coldplay is scheduled to meet and greet their Filipino fans on April 4, 2017, at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds. Likewise, they will drop off their newest album “Kaleidoscope” in the same year.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
