Fellow actors minced no words in condemning Baron Geisler over the “urinating” incident on the film set of “Bubog.”

In a post on her Facebook account, actress and beauty titlist Liza Diño called Geisler a “disgrace to this (show-biz) industry,” following the incident in which the controversial actor allegedly peed on fellow actor Ping Medina’s face while they were doing a scene.

The partner of actress-singer Aiza Seguerra, who is the head of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), blasted off her post with “Baron Geisler, sumosobra ka na (Baron Geisler, you’re going too far)!”

The former Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International stressed that Geisler should be sanctioned for his “offensive” act to prevent him from repeating similar deeds in the future.

She further accused Geisler of having no respect for the craft and said he had no place in the industry that feeds him and on which he has “inflicted” damage.

Geisler, who was tagged, “liked” Diño’s post and reacted by defending himself, daring Diño to check the behind-the-scenes footage that would, he said, prove his innocence. He added that he won’t back down from any fight.

Actor Janus del Prado shared the same sentiments as Diño’s and advised Geisler to just hide away while everyone is hot over the incident as he might encounter someone who would engage him in a “real” fistfight  unlike his “fake” cage fight with fellow indie actor Kiko Matos last June.

Later in a second post, Diño explained that her initial reaction to the incident had been brought about, first, by her being an actress and, second, by her being the head of FDCP.

Earlier “Bubog” director Arlyn Dela Cruz expressed her disgust with the troubled actor and regretted having cast him in her movie despite warnings from other people in the movie industry. She said she opted to work with Geisler giving him the benefit of the doubt.

An enraged Ping Medina also narrated the incident with all the details on his Facebook account.  Clarizel Abanilla
