ELMO Magalona and Janine Gutierrez

It’s the opposite of freedom day for this troubled celeb.

After a string of disappointing setbacks, Despondent Veteran has gone back to an old vice. A mole relates that DV is constantly spotted in a smoky casino—spending the whole night in front of slot machines.

DV recently tried to change careers, but even that feeble attempt to reinvent failed miserably.

FEATURED STORIES

Good thing, DV bombed in this latest endeavor. Success could actually worsen DV’s gambling problem, a spy pointed out.

“It would only make unlimited resources available to DV’s itchy hands,” a source scoffed.

For starters, VF has been telling people that EC is a hopeless junkie.

Worse, VF claims that EC subsidizes the addiction with a little help from Wealthy Benefactor. VF insists EC is not loyal to WB, however. That EC fools around with other guys.

Well, the word war was precisely sparked by EC’s indiscretions.

EC went ballistic because VF dared to blab about those illicit affairs.

Slipping beauty

That cheeky rumor about Charming Hunk must be true.

Keen observers have always doubted CH’s masculinity.

An unguarded moment revealed more than what CH’s handlers would want the public to know: After winning in a contest, CH giddily jumped up and down—like an LA Clippers dancer.

Confirmed?

Well, CH makes a gorgeous cheerleader.

Wild thing

Nothing could shock Unflappable Celebrity. Until UC crossed paths with Glib Personality.

UC and GP somehow ended up in the boudoir.

When the prospect of a second round cropped up, GP had an unusual request. UC refused to give in. It was simply too wild and unconventional for UC, who is not exactly a blushing novice.

This sordid affair quickly went from appealing to appalling!

Rare birds

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Talented Performer has many things in common with Renowned Entertainer.

Aside from their colorful romantic escapades, they had to fight for their hard-won independence, as well.

But the similarities end there.

While RE is pleasant and easy to deal with, TP is the exact opposite. TP’s talent fee is unreasonably high, an insider recounts.

Moreover, TP refuses to budge and give discounts. Not even to friends and colleagues.

Top of the Tabloids

This week’s top show biz news in the  Inquirer tabloid Bandera (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Sharon Cuneta atat nang magka-apo kay KC Concepcion; kaya gustong ampunin ang mga bata sa “The Voice Kids.” (Child-friendly, much?)

Elmo Magalona: Gusto kong makita nila kung sino talaga ako, hindi ako fake. (Let’s play truth or dare…)

Diretsong inamin ni Elmo na “in a relationship”…sila ni Janine Gutierrez. (Uuuy!)

Cedric Lee itinangging ikinulong ang anak nila ni Vina Morales. (And the kid is caught in the crossfire.)

Hamon kay Marian Rivera: Tapatan na ang morning show nila Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros at Jolina Magdangal. (Ang aga ng awayan!)
