RUSSELL Crowe and Ryan Gosling team up in the new action-comedy caper, “The Nice Guys,” megged by Shane Black (“Iron Man 3”).

Set in the ’70s, the stars’ relationship gets off to a bumpy start, but they’re “forced” to work together to solve the case of the missing daughter of a chief justice—and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star.

Dubbed “the buddy comedy of 2016,” “The Nice Guys” bristles with funny, tough-guy dialogue and explosive action, and is coscripted by Black with Anthony Bagarozzi.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” reigned supreme at the box office last week, with an opening weekend gross of P230 million on 476 screens. It’s the biggest opening for 2016 after “Captain America: Civil War.”

The film also topped the box office internationally as well as regionally, with top grosses in India, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

Daniel Radcliffe has joined the cast of the sequel to the hit film, “Now You See Me.” He plays Walter Malbry, a wealthy boy-wonder entrepreneur who’s hiding in a fabulous high-rise apartment in Macau.

Radcliffe says he agreed to play the role because it plugged into his “playful, weird, demented side!” Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg and Dave Franco also star.

SarBay festival

This year’s Sarangani Bay festival (June 3-5) will celebrate its advocacy for environmental sustainability.

Excitement kicks off on June 3 with the Swim Across the Bay Cross Channel Team from Maasin to Glan. The adrenaline rush continues with the SarBay Bancarera.

Art takes center stage in the Pinta sa Baybayon body painting contest and Sand Sculpture Competition.
