TAIPEI—F4 member Ken Chu has confirmed he has applied to marry his Chinese actress girlfriend Vivien Han Wenwen and they plan to hold their wedding this year.

Chu, 37, and Han, 33, were this week rumored to have collected their marriage certificate in China and were photographed at the Bangkok airport on Wednesday on a supposed honeymoon.

But his manager told Apple Daily that the couple were just on holiday, after Chu went to Han’s hometown in Dalian City to apply for marriage.

After they wed in Taiwan and on the mainland this year, Jerry Yan will be the only bachelor left in F4 as Van Ness Wu tied the knot in 2013 and Vic Chou last November.

Chu and Han were first linked last June after they were photographed holding hands in a mall.

Han, a graduate of Beijing Film Academy, started acting as a child and has issued a single.

Chou has quite a romantic history. Past names in his little black book included Taiwanese actress Kelly Lin and Chinese star Li Bingbing.

He was also linked to TV host Mai Sato, Taiwan model Maggie Wu and Chinese model Jiang Xinyu.
