Heart Evangelista’s mom shows up at Escudero announcement

The mother of actress Heart Evangelista, showed up at the Club Filipino, in Greenhills, San Juan on Thursday at a gathering for the expected announcement of the vice presidential bid of her Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

Cecille Ongpauco was just among the family member of the actress, who came to the event to express their support for Escudero.

Escudero had already patched up his differences with Evangelista’s parents, who came out in public in March 2013 to oppose the couple’s relationship.

The actress’ parents did not even attend the wedding of their daughter and the senator last February 15.

There have been rumors, however, that Escudero and Evangelista, whose real name is Heart Ongpauco, will renew their vows which will be attended by her parents. Maila Ager/IDL
