IGUAL AND ROQUE. Opposites attract

The 1970S film, “Love Story,” starring Ali McGraw and Ryan O’Neal, popularized the line, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.” The beautiful relationship depicted in its story could describe the bond forged between Evie Roque and Manuel Jose Igual.

“We’ve known each other for 16 years,” Evie recalls. “Tolo made me so happy! His closest relative once told me, “You’re the best thing that happened to him!’”

Their good friends thought that bringing the fun-loving Tolo and the vivacious Evie together was a good idea.
