DENNIS Trillo to closet gays: You live only once!

Dennis Trillo is so secure in his masculinity that he has no qualms about portraying gay roles. And he’s good at it. I became his fan when I watched him play a cross-dresser in “Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita,” which earned for him many acting awards. Dennis is at it again in his new teleserye, “My Husband’s Lover” (9:30 p.m. weeknights on GMA 7).

How do you pull off playing gays even if you’re all male?

To be believable, you have to first believe in what you’re doing.  I forget about myself and what people might think.

If you were gay, who among the actors would you want to date?

I would go for Hollywood stars like James Franco and  Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

What’s your message to gays who are stuck in the closet?

Come out and play! You live only once.

Gay or straight, no one can resist Dennis’ charms. Ahh! The thrills Trillo brings!

Expectant mom

Katya Santos is all aglow. She’s seven months in the family way. “My hubby Anton and I are expecting a baby girl,” she beams. “We will name her Tala Maria. After I give birth, we will have our church wedding. We got married in civil rites last April.”

She continues: “I’m scared about the labor pains because I will do the natural method [of child birth] with no anaesthesia. I’m excited because I’ve always wanted to have a baby girl who will be my mini-me.”

Hunk endorser

Carlos Agassi is overjoyed to be back as an endorser of Guitar Underwear (along with Gloc 9, Mike Tan and DJ Durano).

“I’ve always taken good care of my body, so I’m glad it paid off,” he beams. “Since I got this endorsement, I’ve never felt sexier.”

If you have it, flaunt it!

Carlos is equally proud of his girlfriend, Margo Midwinter (22-year-old Pinay-Welsh model/host).

“I have plans of marrying her,” he says. “But for now we are focusing on our careers so when we get hitched, we will be ready to raise a family. Margo and I are so much alike. We both don’t drink and smoke. We eat healthy. We have such simple joys.”
