King of Pop’s fans to mark his 4th death anniversary
MICHAEL Jackson’s fans will have a get-together on June 29.
For Michael Jackson’s diehard fans like me, the news about his daughter Paris’ suicide attempt is truly heartbreaking.
It’s quite uncanny that it happened just weeks before the fourth death anniversary of the King of Pop on June 25.
If MJ were still alive, perhaps Paris would not feel so lost and troubled. Apparently, she was having a tough time coping with losing her dad.
We, members of the Official Michael Jackson Fans Club Philippines, will have a get-together on June 29 (venue to be announced later) as part of “World Cry”—the worldwide observance of Michael’s death anniversary by the MJ Fans Clubs.
When we pray for MJ, we will definitely include Paris in our prayers. Hopefully, Paris gets her act together. It’s the least she can do for her dad who

showered her with so much love. Only then can MJ truly rest in peace.
Flashback
Charice’s coming out on national television via “The Buzz” put me on flashback mode. It reminded me of the time my “dalaGAY” IC Mendoza did the same thing many show biz issues ago with the help of Tito Boy Abunda, also on “The Buzz.”
It was not easy but it was the right thing to do. I had never seen IC happier than when he came out of the closet. And, as a mom, his happiness is mine, too.
So, from Day One, I embraced and accepted IC’s being gay without questions nor reservations.
May Charice’s family, fans and most especially bashers give her all the understanding she deserves. Après tout, love knows no gender. One love fits all!
Kiss and make up
Nadia Montenegro is relieved that she and Tita Annabelle Rama have made peace after their word war which dragged for years. I checked on Nadia and here’s her reply via SMS: “Nothing was planned. Another regular day in court. Everything was unexpected.
“The kids were with me and I told them that when Tita Annabelle arrived, they should just smile at her. When they smiled, she smiled back. I told them to kiss her. She said, ’Yana ang payat mo na’.
“So when I saw that she was okay, which was unusual, I stood up and kissed her then she hugged me. Then nag-iyakan na kami. When we faced the judge, we were all in tears, even our lawyers. I said I’d forgiven her and that I was sorry for everything. She also apologized. Then we had lunch to discuss everything.
“It was God’s perfect timing. I was so patient and obedient. God healed our hearts. He took away all the anger and hurt, which made it easier. She lost in the elections and I was also fighting my own battles. God made all the moves. He’s amazing. I’m truly grateful and blessed. I can’t ask for anything more. He is the center of my life.
“So many lessons learned but the best part is, I wouldn’t have met Him if not for this experience.”
I can totally relate to Nadia’s experience because, once upon a controversy, I was also at odds with Tita Annabelle. But since she and my mom went back a long way, forgiveness came easy when the right time came.
Besides it’s best not to burn bridges. We are all just passing through. There comes a time when one kind of love gives way to another.

No need to thank me at all, Jessica, I should be the one to thank you for showing women what it truly means to have grace under pressure.
