Exemplary youth leader
Lena Marie “Mayen” Juico has won as councilor of the first district of Quezon City. She is a product of St. Theresa’s College and De La Salle University, with a degree in AB Organizational Communication. The principled, 29-year-old public servant has high hopes for the Filipino youth: “It’s my crusade to develop the youth sector as an instrument for progress and catalyst for change.”
An exemplary youth leader, Mayen’s parents are TOYM awardee Dr. Philip Ella Juico and PCSO chair Margarita Penson-Juico. She intends to empower young people through education.
