JANICE de Belen and John Estrada

In an interview on “TV Patrol,” John Estrada denied that he had failed to support his four children with Janice de Belen. He insisted that he never neglected his duties and that he regularly gave his children what the court required.

John said: “Janice said we’d be OK, if I supported my kids. She brought me to court; I didn’t contest that. The court said that I should give this much—I give more.”

Janice told reporters who interviewed her on the set of “Showbiz Inside Report”: “It’s very simple and I tweeted it the other day: The truth needs no explanation nor justification.”

She said John’s reaction was natural. “Who would admit something like that? I don’t want to go into details.” Her claims are not baseless, she insisted. “The court records are public documents.”

John said his wish was for Janice to be happy. “I’m happy,” Janice retorted, adding that there was no need for their network ABS-CBN to conduct a mediation meeting. “It’s not like we’re fighting to the death. It’s not complicated. There’s no emotion, no agenda … Why should I get hurt when I’m telling the truth?”
