Confused star worries about old friend

/ 07:35 PM February 05, 2013

GEORGINA Wilson has no plans to follow in aunt Gloria Diaz’s footsteps.

Popular Star is worried about Famous Star’s confusing behavior. When FS was away from the biz, they were quite chummy, texting and calling each other. Yes, that close.

Somehow, they lost touch. Too busy with their respective projects, maybe?

PS recently verbalized (apparently genuine) concern for FS—especially since they are rumored to be at odds now. Is there a not-so-hidden antagonism lurking beneath the surface?

FEATURED STORIES

Track record

Feisty Personality has expressed interest in Handsome Hunk, who has a reputation for flirting with older celebs, including Separated Costar.

Insiders insist it’s not the first time for FP to show undue concern for a younger man. HH allegedly sent the wrong signal, showering FP with attention—and throwing in a bracelet!

JESSY Mendiola insists on courtship first before taking the big plunge.

FP thought HH was open to the possibility … HH got spooked and made the mistake of rejecting FP’s unwarranted attention. FP couldn’t take that sitting down.

Holy terror

Turns out, Gifted Performer can be quite a terror, acting like a prima donna on the set.

Giddy Stars proved too rowdy and messy, disturbing GP’s equanimity. Irritated, GP resorted to publicly shaming GS.

Alas, GS’ loyal fans were annoyed and threatened to destroy GP’s career.

And brand GP as a screaming diva? Uh-oh.

Secret diva

Here’s another secret diva: Gorgeous Hunk has long been rumored to be gay.

Though GH is supposedly wooing Pretty Starlet, not a few insiders believe the girl is only a decoy.

Backstage after a show, GH was accompanied by staffers to his dressing room.

As he opened the door to his private room, GH saw something scary—probably a rat—whereupon he unleashed a shrill scream. With less-than-manly hand gestures. Nakup.

Unmoving

OYO SOTTO works well with dad.

There is something suspiciously different these days about the face of Controversial Celebrity.

Seems CC had some work done. But instead of looking refreshed and younger, the “treatment” left CC looking stiff. Not to mention strange.

CC is “wooden” in the acting department as it is; an unmoving, expressionless face doesn’t help at all.

Karaoke girls

Does karaoke need endorsing in these parts? Yes, it seems. The Playgirls, sexy singer-dancers who aspire to be Asia’s Pussycat Dolls, were recently signed by TJ Media Star Karaoke as image models. The group will be doing shows and mall tours to promote the hard-disc karaoke player.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Marian Rivera on posing for FHM: “Talagang nag-diet ako, tapos nag-boxing ako para lang ma-achieve ang ganitong klaseng katawan. Ito na finally ’yung rurok ng paghihintay nila (fans), nag-cover na ’ko!” (Wow, rurok!)

MATTEO Guidicelli takes it slow.

Dennis Trillo, asked if something romantic is going on between him and “Temptation of Wife” costar Glaiza de Castro: “Siguro naglalaro ’yung mga imahinasyon ng mga taong nakakanood. Akala nila totoong may mga namamagitan sa bawa’t isa. Pero akting lang lahat ng ’yun.” (Wow, namamagitan!)

Glaiza on the possibility of romance with Dennis: “Malayo!” (Wow.)

Richard Gutierrez, asked if he’s sad about girlfriend Sarah Lahbati being away: “I’m handling it the right way, keeping myself busy. There’s nothing to worry about.” (What about her? Should she worry?)

Oyo Sotto on being asked by his dad Vic to join him in a new sit com: “Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Tinatanong pa ba ’yun? S’yempre, oo!’” (S’yempre!)

Oyo on rumors that he’s angry at his dad’s girlfriend Pauleen Luna: “Siguro andun lang ’yung konting ilang, ’di ba? Ba’t naman ako magagalit? Wala naman siyang ginawa sa ’kin. At least masaya si Daddy.” (Great attitude.)

Pilita Corrales on reconciling with Lotlot de Leon: “I was so happy and ready to cry. Thank God, I feel wonderful!” (What about Ara and Cristine?)

Jennylyn Mercado on rumors that she’s preventing ex-boyfriend Patrick Garcia from seeing their son Jazz: “Walang katotohanan ’yun. Welcome sila anytime—kung gusto nila. (’Yun naman pala.)

Dennis Padilla on visiting his kids with ex-wife Marjorie Barretto: “Nagkikita naman kami ng mga once or twice a week… meron naman akong borrower’s card, kumbaga sa library.” (Hahaha, whatever works!)

ANGELICA Panganiban has no romantic problems as of now.

Georgina Wilson on rumors that she is joining Binibining Pilipinas: “Wala akong plano … I don’t know if I’m cut out for it. Magho-host na lang ako.” (Never say never.)

Julia Montes on working with Coco Martin in the movie “A Moment in Time”: “Sobrang maalaga on and off cam … sa ’kin, bantay niya ako kung paano ako umupo. Alagang-alaga ako.” (Alagang-alaga is a notch up simple alaga.)

Andi Eigenmann on rumors that she and ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito are back together: “Hindi kami nagkabalikan—I wish. We’re OK.” (Ah, honesty—refreshing!)

Daniel Padilla on persistent rumors that he and Kathryn Bernardo are in a relationship: “Hindi p’wede pang maging kami. Abangan na lang natin.” (Pati kami?)

Angeline Quinto on what makes her heart beat these days: “In love po talaga ako ngayon. Ang landi! Pero hindi po tao ang kinai-in-love-an ko ngayon. May isang bagay na gustong-gusto kong bilhin—’yung BMW X5!” (Aim high, that’s right.)

Jessy Mendiola on rumors that she and Matteo Guidicelli are a couple: “Agad-agad? ’Di ba pwedeng ligawan muna?” (Good answer!)

Matteo, asked if he loved Jessy: “Let’s just say … getting there.” (Dude, ligaw daw muna!)

Angelica Panganiban on rumors that her relationship with John Lloyd Cruz is on the rocks: “Ang problema namin wala kaming issue, wala kaming mapagtalunan. Laging OK at laging nagtutugma ’yung mga gusto namin!” (Problema nga.)  (Startalk, The Buzz)
