Alden Richards, Christopher de Leon headline new medical drama ‘Code Gray’

Alden Richards and Christopher de Leon are set to lead the cast of the upcoming medical thriller drama series “Code Gray.”
The production held its first in-house story conference on Tuesday, April 21, where the full cast was officially revealed.
Aside from Richards and de Leon, the ensemble also includes Shuvee Etrata, Andrea Torres, Faith Da Silva, Romnick Sarmenta, Joross Gamboa, Christian Bautista, Kristoffer Martin, and Jon Lucas.
Exact plot details of the new series are currently under wraps, but Richards and de Leon are both playing medical doctors.
“Code Gray” marks another major project for Richards, who is currently hosting the variety game show “Stars on the Floor.” He is also set to star in the upcoming collaboration project “Love, Siargao” alongside Nadine Lustre.
Richards previously earned acclaim for his performances in “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” the box-office hit that became one of the highest-grossing Filipino films of all time, and its follow-up, “Hello, Love, Again.”
In the past, Richards also headlined the fantasy series “Victor Magtanggol” and the drama anthology “The Gift.”
Meanwhile, de Leon, widely regarded as one of the country’s most respected actors, brings decades of experience to “Code Gray.”
Most recently, de Leon appeared in the Coco Martin-starrer series “Batang Quiapo.” He also reunited with Vilma Santos in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film “When I Met You in Tokyo.” /edv
