Luis Manzano, Jessy Mendiola move into their ‘forever home’

After years of residing in rental houses, celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola are finally moving into their new and forever home, which they fondly call “Casa Manzano.”

Manzano and Mendiola revealed the milestone through a video on the actress’ YouTube channel on Sunday, March 1.

“Ang tagal kong hindi nagba-vlog. Na-busy [kami], at ang rason kung bakit kami na-busy ay [dahil] kami ay lilipat na sa aming forever home, ang Casa Manzano,” Mendiola said.

(I haven’t vlogged for a long time because we were busy. The reason we were busy is because we are set to move into our forever home, the Casa Manzano.)

“Almost five years na kaming palipat-lipat ng bahay (We have been moving from house to house for almost five years),” she recalled, noting how her social media followers have witnessed their journey of moving in and out of rental homes.

The couple disclosed that aside from their new home located somewhere in the “north,” they also have a rental house in Lipa, Batangas. They admitted that initially they did not want to let go of their Batangas home, hence they decided to just rent out their new house once the construction was finished.

But upon seeing the new house nearing completion, Manzano and Mendiola had a change of heart.

“Ang ganda nung kinalabasan nung bahay, so we decided to live there na lang. As much as we want to stay sa south, okay din naman sa north kasi malapit sa work namin,” Mendiola said.

(The house turned out to be really beautiful, so we decided to just live there instead. As much as we want to stay in the south, the north is fine too since it’s close to our work.)

“For practicality din, mas okay na rin na bahay mo talaga. Who knows, baka pag nakapag-ipon na kami, makapag-acquire kami ng iba pang properties in the south,” she added.

(For practicality reasons as well, it’s better to have a house that’s truly your own. Who knows, maybe once we’ve saved up enough, we’ll be able to acquire more properties in the south.)

At the latter part of the vlog, the couple also gave a peek into some parts of their home including the master bedroom, the walk-in closet, kitchen and the living room. They also assured fans that they will be sharing a virtual tour of the whole house soon.
