2PM’s Taecyeon to wed longtime girlfriend next spring
South Korean singer and actor Ok Taecyeon announced he’s getting married to his non-showbiz longtime girlfriend.
On Saturday, Nov. 1, Taecyeon’s agency 51K shared through a statement that the 2PM member will tie the knot next spring. Spring in Korea is from March to May.

“Actor Ok Taecyeon has promised to spend the rest of his life with the partner whom he has been dating for a long time. The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul next spring, with only close friends, family, and relatives in attendance,” read the agency’s statement.
The talent label also requested privacy for Taecyeon’s fiancée, emphasizing that she is not a public figure.
“As [Taecyeon’s] spouse-to-be is not a celebrity, we ask for your generous understanding regarding the fact that we will not be revealing further details. Even after his marriage, actor Ok Taecyeon plans to greet you with good projects and a wide variety of activities. We ask that you continue to give actor Ok Taecyeon your unsparing love and support,” concluded the statement.

The news comes four years after Taecyeon confirmed his relationship in 2020. Earlier this year, engagement rumors circulated when he was spotted kneeling and presenting a ring to his girlfriend in Paris.
After the wedding announcement, Taecyeon took to his personal Instagram page to express gratitude to fans for their continued support since his debut.
“I’ve promised to spend the rest of my life with someone who has long understood and supported me,” he wrote. “Going forward, as both a member of 2PM and an actor, I will do my best to give back the love and support you’ve shown me.”
Taecyeon first gained recognition after competing on the survival show Superstar Survival at age 19. He debuted with JYP Entertainment’s boy group 2PM in 2008, known for hits like “Heartbeat,” “Hands Up” and “Again & Again.”
Beyond his idol career, Taecyeon successfully transitioned into acting, starring in popular dramas such as “Dream High,” “Let’s Fight,” “Ghost,” “Vincenzo” and “Heartbeat.” /ra
