Lotlot de Leon turned sentimental as she got reminded of her late mom Nora Aunor during a taping for a project, in which she will portray a character that has the same name as the Superstar.
Lotlot shared this while showing a paper in which the name Nora was written in capital letters, through the former’s Instagram Stories on Friday, May 9.
“At work today and for the first time ever, my character’s name is Nora. And usually, the tents are labeled with the actor’s name but today it’s mom’s name,” she said.
She then addressed the late screen veteran and wrote, “Hi ma. I love you,” adding white heart emoji.

Lotlot earlier visited the grave of Aunor at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, as seen in a separate post. The actress was with her brother Kiko, and her children Janine, Jessica, Diego and Maxine Gutierrez. Jericho Rosales, Janine’s boyfriend, was also present.
“My mom’s grave is already tidy. She still gets many visitors every day,” Lotlot said, admitting that she often waits in her car to give way to her mom’s other visitors.
“I see how they pay their respects to mom,” she continued. “Thank you for loving her… I’m sure she’s smiling from up above and she’s happy. Thank you for always praying for her too.”
Concluding her post, Lotlot added, “From my heart, I love you all and thank you.”
