Visiting artist’s handlers interrupt interview

It was not Enterprising Reporter’s first distressing encounter with Visiting Artist. Still, ER gave VA a second chance.
ER attended a huge event for VA and interviewed the celebrity’s Unassuming Elder.
From out of nowhere, VA’s handlers, including Pushy Relative, cut in and ended the conversation. “This is not allowed,” they insisted.
Annoyed by the rude interruption, ER wondered if press freedom had just been abolished.
Why are these people extra paranoid whenever journalists ask about VA’s family tree? Is there any cause for concern?
Rudeness redux
That was ER’s second bad experience with the same high-flying group.
ER was earlier promised an “exclusive” chat with VA. ER waited for six hours, but when the moment finally arrived, VA’s handlers were suddenly in a rush to leave the venue.
Breaking bad
The incident reminded witnesses of the New Lover of another Talented Celebrity.
NL is famously difficult and demanding as well. Well-meaning and respected observers suspect that NL is a bad influence on TC, who has changed for the worse.
They noted that TC had severed ties with old, trusted confidants.
Without intervention, TC is bound for a downward spiral, like other gifted youngsters who had too much fame, too soon.
Delayed dismissal
Troubled Personality, who got entangled in a very messy affair, was about to be sacked by home studio.
For some reason, TP’s departure was blocked—and curiously enough, the same people that TP had offended prevented the dismissal.
Are the “protectors” afraid that TP would open a can of worms if further aggravated?
As luck would have it, the Big Boss who was supposed to sign the walking papers was away at the time. Thus, TP got a reprieve… for now.
Waiting game
Hardworking Journalist arrived at a splashy event four hours ahead of schedule, to chat with Popular Star.
HJ’s initiative was all for naught, however. PS’ handlers gave HJ the runaround. Apparently, PS didn’t want to be disturbed. Has PS become swell-headed?
Mom twice over
LOS ANGELES—Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has given birth to her first child with new husband Jim Toth. Her publicist announced Thursday the baby boy would be called Tennessee James.
Witherspoon, who won her Oscar in 2006 for her role in “Walk the Line” is doing well, as is the infant. “The entire family is thrilled,” the publicist said in a statement.
The actress was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe and has two children with him. The couple divorced in 2008. AFP
