YouTube personality Ms. Rachel, popular for her content for children, announced the arrival of her baby girl Susannah, who was born via a surrogate mother.
Ms. Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, made the announcement via her Instagram page last April 8, showing herself with the baby cuddled on her chest.
“We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! We are so in love!” she said in the caption.
“Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know,” she stated. “I’m meant to be your mama.”
Rachel said she was “unable to carry” the pregnancy due to medical reasons which she did not immediately disclose.
“We were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever,” she wrote.
“We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her,” she added.
Rachel also addressed her husband, Aron Accurso, and said, “Thank you for being the best husband and dada!”
In a separate post, Rachel shared their mother-and-daughter photo in which they donned matching outfits.
Rachel and Aron have been married since 2016. They have a son named Thomas, whom they welcomed in 2018.
Rachel has a master’s degree in music education and is taking a second master’s in early childhood education. Her YouTube channel, which has over 14.3 million subscribers as of this writing, features baby and toddler learning videos.
