Kylie Verzosa to ex-BF Jake Cuenca, Chie Filomeno: ‘Happy for you guys’

Kylie Verzosa has apparently given her approval to the relationship of her ex-boyfriend Jake Cuenca and Chie Filomeno, telling them on social media that she is “happy for them.”
Verzosa sent her well wishes to Filomeno and Cuenca, as seen in the comments of the “A Very Good Girl” star’s Instagram post where she shared glimpses of her sweet interactions with the actor during the recent ABS-CBN Ball.

“Happy for you guys,” the Miss International 2016 titleholder said, adding hearts emojis.

Filomeno responded to Verzosa’s comment, saying, “Thank you Kylie! Happy for you as well,” hinting at the former beauty queen’s current romance with her non-showbiz partner.

While Cuenca has not responded to Verzosa’s message, he commented on Filomeno’s post that he is the “luckiest guy at the ball.” Cuenca also shared a clip of himself dancing with Filomeno on his Instagram account on the day.

The 2025 edition of the ABS-CBN Ball marked Filomeno and Cuenca’s second time to grace the star-studded event as a pair. They also attended the 2023 iteration of the ABS-CBN Ball as well as the Star Magical Christmas event in the same year.
Reports of Filomeno and Cuenca’s romance started in 2023, although the “Can’t Buy Me Love” star reiterated that they’re “taking [their] time,” while the actor is vocal about his admiration for her.
Filomeno spoke about their romance in 2024, where she said that while it’s no longer a “secret,” they simply wanted to keep their relationship private.
Cuenca was previously in a relationship with Verzosa in 2019 until they confirmed their breakup three years later.
