Min Bernardo marked her youngest daughter Kathryn Bernardo’s 29th birthday by reminiscing on the latter’s childhood, saying the actress will always be her “little girl” no matter her age.
On Instagram on Wednesday, March 26, Min dedicated a birthday message to Kathryn, which includes photos of the two of them as well as members of their family from when the actress was still a child.
“To my daughter, my little girl yesterday, my friend today and my daughter forever. I will try and respect the fact that the decisions you will make are your own but you must understand that to me, you will always be my little girl,” she wrote.
“I may not carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart,” she vowed. “I am proud of you and love you more than anything in the world. Happy 29th birthday, my bunso.”
Kathryn, meanwhile, surprised netizens after she shared another set of photos from her birthday shoot in which she bared more skin.
Aside from her mom, Kathryn also received heartfelt greetings from her close friends and fellow actresses Julia Montes, Dimples Romana and Alora Sasam, among others.
Kathryn earlier admitted feeling “lost” at the moment, but she underscored that she is choosing to show up, grow and accept the uncertainties.
