Maja Salvador has joined the roster of celebrities backing the senatorial candidacy of Kiko Pangilinan in the 2025 midterm elections.

Salvador made the endorsement through her Instagram page where she praised Pangilinan for his integrity and dedication to public service.

“Sa 25 years ni Kuya Kiko Pangilinan sa public service, ni minsan di nasangkot si Kuya Kiko sa anumang korapsyon o kalokohan, tapat at totoong naglingkod-bayan,” she captioned the post.

(In Kuya Kiko Pangilinan’s 25 years in public service, Kuya Kiko was never involved in any corruption or mischief; he served the people with honesty and integrity.)

The actress-dancer affirmed that she has been a long-term supporter of the former senator, writing, “Walang bahid ng katiwalian. Kaya mula pa 2007 sinuportahan ko na po siya. At hanggang ngayon sinusuportahan ko pa rin po si Kuya.”

(He has no trace of corruption. That’s why I have supported him since 2007. And until now I still support Kuya.)

The endorsement comes after Salvador made headlines when she made an appearance at one of the campaign rallies of the Solid North party list.

Aside from Salvador, Pia Magalona, beauty queen Aya Fernandez, actress Pinky Amador, TV host-comedian Vice Ganda, and showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz have all expressed their support for Pangilinan’s senatorial bid.

Meanwhile, Salvador recently signed with MQuest Ventures and teased a full slate of upcoming projects for her this year.

The 36-year-old actress is set to mark her return to television via the upcoming revenge drama “Athena.”

She is also expected to reprise her hosting duties for the upcoming fifth season of the game show “Emojination” alongside a new dance competition, “Isayaw Mo.”
