Kim Atienza is not one to be defined by a past experience as he is still brave enough to hop on his motorcycle after a near-death experience on the road weeks ago.
Atienza shared the good news through his Instagram page by sharing a clip of him posing near his motorcycle and jamming to the tune of Fred Panopio’s “Kawawang Cowboy.”
“When you fall off… Get back on your horse! — ancient cowboy saying,” he began his caption.
The seasoned TV host underscored that it’s better to overcome the fear as early as now before it consumes the person.
“After falling off a bike, getting back on immediately counteracts a fear that develops. You will find it harder to overcome that fear the more time passes and the more that our brains relive that fear over and over. Mamaya ayaw mo na sumakay (There’s a possibility that you no longer want to do rides),” he stated.

Atienza shared that it was his “first day ride to work on the normal route” since he figured in a road accident while riding his motorcycle on the way home from work earlier this month.
“Maraming maraming salamat (Thank you so much) Lord, I am humbled by your blessings! Salamat (Thank you) I can ride,” he concluded the post.
On March 7, Atienza revealed on social media that he sustained broken ribs after he flew over his handlebars while on his motorbike.
“Riding home from work a huge dog darted straight to my path, making me crash. I flew 8 feet over my handlebars hitting the pavement with a thud. I heard a loud crack and knew something was broken,” he wrote at the time.
At the time, the 58-year-old expressed his gratitude for his now “4th life” after he was hospitalized due to the road incident.
