Cedrick Juan and Kate Alejandrino are ready to enter the next step of their relationship, as Juan announced his engagement to the “Lavender Fields” star.
Juan took to his social media platforms on Wednesday, February 19, to reveal his upcoming wedding to Alejandrino, while sharing photos of the actress wearing her engagement ring which has a gold band and a princess-cut diamond.
“Isang pangarap. Pangarap na nagsimula sa pagpapanumbalik ng iyong tunay na ngiti na naguugat sa kaluluwa, isip, puso at mga mata. Ito ang layunin ko simula noong unang araw na tayo’y nagsimula,” he wrote.
(A dream. A dream that started with the hope of bringing back your true smile that radiates from your soul, mind, heart, and eyes. This was my goal since the day we got together.)

Juan also vowed that he would love and serve Alejandrino for life while expressing his dedication to making her happy.
“Trabaho ko ang mahalin, pagsilbihan, makinig at pasayahin ka dahil nararapat ito para sayo. Ang maging sigurado at tiyak sa bawat hakbang araw-araw na magkasama. Tara mangarap tayo bawat sandali simula sa araw na ito,” he said. “Mahal, Mahal na mahal kita at pipiliin ka araw-araw Kaitin.”
(It is my job to love, serve, listen, and make you happy because it is what you deserve. I want to be sure in every day that we’re together. Let us dream of what the future awaits us. I love you very much and I will choose you every day, Kaitin.)

While it is unknown when Juan and Alejandrino started dating, the couple went public with their relationship in January 2025. The actress’ name was also briefly mentioned in the caption of the “GomBurZa” star’s Instagram post in October 2024, although it was unknown if they were already a couple then.
Having appeared on TV, films, and theater, Juan rose to prominence after winning Best Actor at the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival for his portrayal of Padre Jose Burgos in the film “GomBurZa.” He also appeared in “Till I Met You,” “Die Beautiful,” “The Panti Sisters,” “Big Night!”, and the 2022 staging of “Mula Sa Buwan.”
Alejandrino, on the other hand, is best known for starring in “Lavender Fields,” “Ten Little Mistresses,” and “Dormitoryo: Mga walang katapusang kwarto.”
