Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa had an intimate party with their family where they announced that they are expecting a baby girl.
The couple’s party featured a huge white box which was later revealed to have pink balloons inside, indicating that their second child is a girl. Herras and Donesa documented the celebration through a vlog released on their YouTube channel on Friday, Feb. 14.
The actor-performer was the one who prepared the party as he was the first to know their baby’s sex.
“We’re gonna have a baby girl, and I’m sure everyone will cry. Parang hindi pa nagsi-sink in sa akin na we’re gonna have a baby girl after Corky,” Herras said, referring to their firstborn.
“I don’t know if I’m ready to have a girl. I don’t know—ang hirap kasi ilagay sa utak na ang dami nang siraulong tao ngayon,” Herras admitted.
Nonetheless, Herras expressed the hope that everything would “go well,” and looked forward to meeting his daughter.
Herras and Donesa confirmed their relationship to the public in August 2019. They welcomed Corky in February 2021, then tied the knot in a civil ceremony the following September.
The couple announced Donesa’s second pregnancy in December.
Meanwhile, Herras previously made headlines after he performed at a gay bar. While it drew mixed reactions, Herras stressed that there was nothing wrong with what he did as it was in his line of work.
“Hindi naman ako naghubad. Hindi naman ako sumayaw na parang macho dancer or what. I performed, I danced to hip-hop, ganun. Hindi naman ako nag-patable or what,” he said.
“Pero kasi satin diba, grabe ‘yung mga Filipino mag-judge ng tao. Akala nila meron silang karapatan mag-judge sa buhay ng ibang tao,” he lamented.
