Heart Evangelista turned emotional after her husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero, surprised her with a birthday gift — a song performance from Gary Valenciano at her party.
Evangelista marked her 40th birthday with a party attended by her loved ones and celebrity friends, as seen in the videos she reposted on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Feb. 13.

“Becoming 40 is just 20, but with better decisions and an earlier bedtime,” she said in a separate post.

Among those who were present to celebrate with the actress-fashion personality was social media personality Tim Yap, who hosted the event and documented it through clips shared on his Instagram Stories.
In one of his videos, Evangelista, seated beside Escudero, can be seen wiping her tears while watching Valenciano sing “Kailangan Kita” and “Warrior Is a Child.”
Yap also disclosed in the caption that the songs were “specially chosen” by Escudero.
