South Korean actress and singer Lee Hyeri recently indulged in a luxurious getaway at Amanpulo, an exclusive island resort in the Philippines.
Hyeri shared glimpses of her tropical escape with friends on Instagram. The Korean star sported a turquoise two-piece swimsuit as she soaked up the sun on the resort’s pristine beach on Pamalican Island in Palawan.
In her caption, Hyeri described the trip as “unforgettable.”

The singer-actress also documented her Amanpulo trip on her YouTube vlog, saying she had always wanted to visit the resort, and now had the opportunity to blend vacation and work, as she also did a photoshoot.

The Korean star was also captured greeting the Amanpulo staff with “Kumusta” (How are you)?”
Hyeri previously made headlines after getting caught up in a “love triangle” involving her ex-boyfriend actor Ryu Jun-yeol and another actress Han So-hee.
At the time, the two women engaged in an Instagram feud, taking jabs at each other, which led them to pen apologies later on, while Ryu remained silent amid the issue.
Ryu and Hyeri dated for eight years before confirming their separation in November 2023. In the same year, Ryu and Han sparked dating rumors after they were spotted in a trip to Hawaii.
Amid the transit love controversy, Ryu and Han announced their split in the same year.
Meanwhile, Hyeri rose to fame after debuting as the youngest member of the Korean girl group Girls Day. In 2012, she made her acting debut in the SBS weekend drama “Tasty Life.”
Hyeri is also widely recognized for her award-winning performance as the female lead in “Reply 1988” (2015), which was the highest-rated drama on Korean cable television upon its release.
