Amid the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, actress Liza Soberano took to social media to express her heartfelt gratitude to those who reached out to check on her safety.
Soberano stated that she is not in LA right now but offered her prayers for those directly affected by the disaster.
“Thank you to everyone who checked in on me. I’m okay. I’m not in LA as of the moment. But my heart goes out to all of my friends in LA. Praying for everyone’s safety,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Soberano has been residing in Los Angeles to advance her career in Hollywood. In 2024, she made her Hollywood debut in the horror-comedy film “Lisa Frankenstein,” portraying the character Taffy, the stepsister of the protagonist.
To support her endeavors, the “Dolce Amore” actress also invested in a new apartment in Los Angeles, which she designed and furnished with her father, John Soberano. She has been attending Hollywood events and an acting school, and actively auditioning for various projects.
Soberano has also been involved in the production side of the entertainment industry. In early 2024, she established her production company, revealing that she had “seven projects in development, some of which she will act in, and some of them she will be producing for other artists.”
Amid her stay abroad, the “Forevermore” star has been coming in and out of the Philippines for additional projects, mostly endorsements.
Meanwhile, Filipino actor and songwriter Iñigo Pascual is one of the stars whose homes have been affected and who had to evacuate amid the drastic wildfires.
The fires in and around Los Angeles have claimed the homes of numerous celebrities including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Jeff Bridges, among others.
