Millie Bobby Brown tears up as 'Stranger Things' filming ends

Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays the role of Eleven in the fictional series “Stranger Things,” turned emotional as the series production concluded its filming.

Brown compiled photos taken from the nine years of filming the series, through her Instagram page on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Also included in the post is a video of the British actress breaking into tears while reading a farewell letter in front of the production.

“Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me,” she said as her voice cracked from crying.

“I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family,” she continued. “I love you, thank you.”

Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike Wheeler, also admitted he was “still in shock” after wrapping up the series’ fifth season.

“We shot it for a year and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly,” he wrote on his Instagram page. “I feel like we’re still those people and I’m lucky to still stand beside them today. I hope you’ll love this season as much as I do.”

Noah Schnapp also expressed his gratitude for the incredible people he met and valuable life lessons he learned throughout his journey with the show.

Meanwhile, Sadie Sink, who is Max Mayfield in the show, credited the show and its production as what made her who she is now.

“Saying goodbye is so painful, but I leave with memories and love to last a lifetime. I’m eternally grateful,” she said.

“Stranger Things” premiered in 2016, and is set to air its final eight episodes in 2025.
