Kiana Valenciano revealed that she had been married to her non-showbiz partner Sandro Tolentino for a year now, as she penned a heartfelt post to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Valenciano took to her Instagram account on Saturday, Dec. 14, to announce her marriage to Tolentino, which happened a year ago.
The post contained a clip documenting the couple’s intimate wedding witnessed by their loved ones at an events venue in Pangasinan.
“Secret wedding? Highly recommend. A year ago today, surrounded by family, Sandro and I took the boldest, most exciting leap into our future together. It feels like we’ve lived a lifetime since then, and what an incredible adventure it’s been,” she wrote.
The singer-songwriter said their marriage has “been nothing short of beautiful/” while expressing her love for Tolentino.
“This year has been nothing short of beautiful, and we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with the rest of our loved ones. Happy anniversary my love,” she said.
Pasig-based photography studio Nice Print Photography and events designer Gideon Hermosa also shared glimpses of the couple celebrating their wedding on the same day.
Valenciano was a radiant bride in a white, body-hugging midi dress and a shawl, where her look was finished with a gold headpiece, gold slip-on heels, and a bouquet of white orchids. Meanwhile, Tolentino looked dapper in a simple barong.
“The joys of an intimate wedding come to life so beautifully in these images. This one was exactly a year ago. All good things reveal themselves in due time and this is one of them. Congratulations, Kiana and Sandro,” Hermosa captioned his post.
Valenciano thanked Hermosa for making her wedding special in the comments.
“Words cannot express how happy you made us. You truly designed the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our love story. Thank you @gideonhermosa,” she wrote.
On the other hand, Gary Valenciano didn’t stop himself from turning emotional at his only daughter’s wedding in the comments section.
Valenciano’s engagement was announced by Gary and her mother, Angeli Pangilinan, in August 2023.
