Gary Valenciano, Angeli Pangilinan ecstatic over daughter Kiana’s engagement

Gary Valenciano and his wife Angeli Pangilinan were elated as they announced the engagement of their daughter Kiana Valenciano to her United States-based boyfriend, Lisandro Zaragoza Tolentino.
Gary, dubbed as “Mr. Pure Energy,” showed Kiana hugging him while flaunting her engagement ring, through the veteran singer’s Instagram page on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
“Friends? Ladies and gentlemen? Brothers and sisters? My beautiful forever-princess’ ring says it all,” Gary began. “I love you, [Kiana]! Am so happy for you.”
Addressing his daughter, Gary spoke of his joy as Kiana will be embarking on the next chapter of her life with Tolentino, fondly called Sandro.
“So much I want to tell you Kiana…but I think I will save that for a day when you and I can just sit and talk… just you and I before the big day arrives and the wedding bells toll,” Gary said. “My heart tugs but not with sadness my dearest princess…but with the joy of the Lord for how He has orchestrated your life…and how He will continue to do so.”
“I’m thankful for the young man the Lord allowed to find you,” he added. “Love you too, [Sandro]. What a joy it is to have you in the V family.”

Angeli, for her part, gave a glimpse of the newly engaged couple during an intimate get-together with Paolo Valenciano and his wife Samantha Godinez.
“And she said YES! My heart is full. The Lord be praised as our baby girl is getting married!” Angeli said in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
“Introducing US-based Lisandro Zaragoza Tolentino aka Sandro. Our family is so happy to have Kiana’s plus one added to our growing family,” she added.
Angeli then addressed Sandro as her “son” as she sent her well-wishes for the new season in the couple’s lives.
“We love you son. Thank you for making her happy,” Angeli wrote. “The Lord bless you and keep you safe and protected all the days of your life! We love you both so so much.”

Family members and fellow celebrities were also ecstatic as they flocked to the comments section to celebrate Kiana and Sandro’s engagement.

Kiana first hinted her relationship with Sandro in 2019 through a birthday greeting for him on her Instagram page. The couple appeared to have celebrated their 4th anniversary last January.
