Gary Valenciano, with ‘Father’s Day hangover,’ reminisces recording with daughter Kiana
It’s past Father’s Day, but Gary Valenciano is extending his celebration as he reminisce a recording that he made with his own daughter, Kiana when she was just three years old.
Valenciano took to Instagram on June 20, or two days after Father’s Day, to post a video of himself listening to a snippet of a supposed 20-minute audio of mostly just Kiana singing and “teaching” her father how to sing “Maria,” a song from the soundtrack of the 1965 film “The Sound of Music.”
The same video was uploaded by the now 30-year-old Kiana on Instagram as part of her Father’s Day greeting to Valenciano.
“Listening to it reminded me once again of how blessed I am to have been given two crazy boys and a princess like her,” said Valenciano, referring to Kiana and her older brothers, Paolo and Gab.
“Thank you for posting this @kianavee. I love you and miss you so so much,” he told his daughter, who appeared to be staying in the United States at the moment.
